The Sequential Trigon-6 Desktop Module is a six-voice polyphonic analogue synthesiser delivering the same immense sound, discrete circuitry, and intuitive hands-on control as the Trigon-6 Keyboard, all packed into a compact desktop format.

Pure Analogue Power

The Trigon-6 retains Sequential’s renowned all-analogue signal path with three discrete voltage-controlled oscillators per voice and a ladder-style low-pass filter, giving musicians that unmistakably rich, creamy tone reminiscent of early synthesiser classics. Each oscillator offers triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, and variable pulse-width waveforms, with hard sync, oscillator feedback, and drive controls that enhance harmonic saturation for greater depth and texture.

Dynamic Filtering and Modulation

Every voice includes a switchable two- or four-pole ladder filter with full resonance, bi-polar envelope modulation, and velocity-sensitive tracking. The filter can self-oscillate for authentic analogue resonance, while keyboard tracking options let players shape timbre responsiveness across the range. The dedicated low-frequency oscillator provides sine, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, square, and sample & hold waves, synchronisable to tempo and routable to multiple destinations such as oscillator frequency, pulse width, filter cutoff, and amplifier modulation.

Expressive Performance and Sequencing

Designed for modern expressive control, the Trigon-6 now supports MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression), enabling per-note control of parameters like pitch bend, filter cutoff, and amplitude. This gives each voice an extraordinary level of nuance and playability. The onboard 64-step polyphonic sequencer and flexible arpeggiator provide creative rhythmic and melodic possibilities, with selectable note values, octave ranges, and playback patterns for advanced compositional work.

Refined Effects Engine

Trigon-6 features dual 24-bit, 48 kHz digital effects that include studio-quality reverbs, full-bandwidth and BBD-style delays, chorus, flanger, phaser, and a ring modulator. Its dedicated analogue stereo distortion circuit adds warmth or grit without compromising the signal path, which remains fully analogue when the digital effects are disengaged.

Vintage Knob and Sound Character

The signature Vintage Knob allows users to dial in component behaviour variations for each voice, recreating the subtle imperfections of vintage hardware. From precise modern tuning to the warm drift of an aged classic, this control provides endless tonal personality.
