Versatile XLR and TRS Connectivity
XLR and TRS inputs and outputs provide connection options for studio interfaces, patchbays and other outboard equipment. These connections simplify integration with existing cabling and support flexible signal routing around the installed modules.
Internal Routing Between Modules
Feed switches route the output of channel one directly to the input of channel two without an external patch cable. This arrangement simplifies serial processing, such as connecting a microphone preamp to an equaliser or compressor, and reduces cabling around the rack.
Ground Lift Switches for Hum Control
Ground lift switches help address ground-related hum, including the 60 Hz interference identified in the product specification. They provide a practical troubleshooting option when connected equipment introduces unwanted hum into the signal path.
Recessed Slots for a Flush Appearance
The recessed slots align the installed modules’ faceplates with the chassis front panel. This layout gives the complete assembly a consistent appearance alongside other 19-inch rack equipment.
