The Sonnet xMac Pro Server is a 4U rackmount enclosure and expansion chassis for the Apple Mac Pro with three additional PCIe slots and space for additional devices such as hard drives, optical drives and more.

The Sonnet XMac Pro Server includes four USB 3.0 ports, two gigabit Ethernet ports and one HDMI connection.  The 4U Rackmount is designed to hold the Mac Pro securely horizontally and connects PCIe slots to the Mac Pro via the included 2 Thunderbolt cable allowing to add UAD-2, Pro Tools HD cards or any other compatible PCIe card. A second Thunderbolt port allows you to daisy-chain up to 5 additional devices such as PCIe expansion, 4K screens, Audio interfaces, video captures and more.

The Xmac Pro is incredibly silent thanks to its temperature-controlled, variable speed fans. Additional devices such as drives can be added via the optional Mobile Rack Device Mounting kit which will let you easily install mobile rack devices inside the xMac Pro Server.
