One filter voice they’ve done an exceptional job of reverse engineering is the ubiquitous Yamaha CS-80, a highly revered polysynth that was partly made famous by the Blade Runner soundtrack by Vangelis.
The CS80’s rich, complex tone owes much of its signature characteristics to its dual filter setup that offers simultaneous high pass and low pass, allowing for unique timbral articulation and a diverse array of possible tones.
The CODE and OMEGA series synths are fully expandable and let you add in your preferred flavour of filter per voice, this particular expansion consists of eight CS-80 filters, which can be user fitted using the expansion ports on your OMEGA or CODE series voice cards.
