Dedicated Control for Both Timbres
ONM-1 expands the DMNO ON base unit with a second synth control panel, allowing performers to adjust both timbres simultaneously. This arrangement recreates the full dual-panel control layout of the larger keyboard DMNO and brings that instrument’s hands-on approach to a modular desktop setup.
Flexible Expansion with the ON System
The DMNO ON base unit provides the complete 8-voice, 2-part multitimbral synthesis engine. ONM-1 extends its physical controls, giving each timbre a dedicated control set within the ON System’s configurable format.
The system supports up to two different ONM modules. Combining ONM-1 Synth Control with ONM-2 Effects Control adds dedicated access to both synthesis and effects, allowing a setup to accommodate different performance and programming requirements.
Plug-and-Play Connection
ONM-1 connects to the DMNO ON base unit through a robust D-Sub cable with screw-locking connectors. The connection supports plug-and-play operation and supplies the module’s power, removing the need for a separate power supply.
Dimensions and Weight
ONM-1 measures 236 mm wide × 220 mm long × 107 mm high, with the height increasing to 132 mm when the rear feet extend. The module weighs 3 kg.
