KMR Hosts Amphion Listening Day
Written by Paul Lavigne
KMR Audio is to host an ‘Amphion Listening Day’ on the 4th of October with special guests Amphion founder Anssi Hyvonen and renowned producer Jack Ruston.
Amphion’s range of studio monitors has become hugely popular in a relatively short space of time, with the company experiencing worldwide acclaim and unprecedented growth. And we want you to find out why. With users including Cenzo Townsend and countless others, this speaker manufacturer from Finland means business.
Throughout the day, Anssi will discuss the philosophy and design behind his speakers. We will also play host to Jack Ruston, engineer/mixer extraordinaire (Judas Priest, Walking on Cars) and Amphion devotee to tell his story.
After the talks and Q&A, we will give you the chance to listen to your music on the whole range of monitors. We will also have Amphion's BaseOne25 LF Extender system for the first time in the UK. The BaseOne25 system transforms any Amphion model from a 2-way nearfield into a 3-way full-frequency monitoring system. Bring a stereo file or a Pro Tools session and you will be able to hear these "Beautifully Honest" speakers in our demo room newly treated by GIK Acoustics.
Throughout the day and evening, we will have fresh drinks available and our team will be available for a good chat. All attendees will, in addition, qualify for special offers available on the day.
Our acoustically-treated demo room has a limited capacity and registration is necessary. If you are interested in this event, please go to our Eventbrite page and reserve your seat for free. We are aiming to run three sessions throughout the day, between 3pm and 8pm. We hope to see you there.
