HUM Audio

Established in Poland in 1999, HUM Audio Devices : Human Unhindered Maker Developed by sound engineers Krzysztof Tonn and Krzysztof Rudnicki, the company’s designs include the N-Trophy analogue console, N-Closure channel strips, LAAL Look Ahead Analogue Limiter, N-Matrix insert matrix, RP-2 remote microphone preamp and RS-series ribbon microphones, with an emphasis on discrete circuitry, high headroom and uncompromising component quality.

HUM’s designs combine traditional analogue engineering with some genuinely innovative approaches to modern studio workflows. The LAAL, for example, achieves analogue look-ahead limiting through a 0.2ms analogue delay line, while the modular N-Trophy console employs discrete JE990-based amplification, passive six-band EQ, tube optical dynamics and a zero-loss summing architecture. Carefully handcrafted in Poland, HUM equipment is designed to deliver depth, detail and musical analogue character while retaining the precision and flexibility required for critical professional production.
