Tegeler Audio
Founded in Berlin-Tegel in 2005 by sound engineer and designer Michael Krusch, Tegeler Audio Manufaktur grew from Krusch’s experience building and modifying classic studio circuits for his own recording work. The company has developed a distinctive range of analogue processors including the Creme, Vari Tube Compressor, Classic Equalizer EQP-1, Magnetismus 2, Schwerkraftmaschine and Raumzeitmaschine, with every unit hand-built and tested at Tegeler’s workshop in Berlin.
Tegeler combines valve, passive EQ, VCA, opto and vari-mu analogue circuitry with a particularly innovative approach to modern studio integration. Products such as the Schwerkraftmaschine, Raumzeitmaschine and Creme RCretain an analogue audio path while adding motorised controls, Ethernet connectivity and plug-in-based DAW recall, allowing hardware settings to be stored and restored with a session. The result is characterful analogue processing with the convenience and repeatability demanded by contemporary recording, mixing and mastering workflows.
